When I think about the word “winter” several
moments from childhood appears in a flash. The best and funny memories
are from the time when I use to go to school in a nearby village. I
still remember once my hairs got frozen while walking to school.
But now, when I think the deeper meaning of winters and what others might feel when the season starts is quite different. The freezing breeze with its strokes on the soul gives the indication of harsh times while the warmth of sun tells that spring is yet to come. The snowy peak gets ready to reserve the most important element of life for summer and tells a hidden meaning that is, if you want the best from your life you got to climb the peak of your life and there on the top is the priceless reward. The beautiful people busy in house chores, Half dead plants, bonfire and the smoke from houses depict that after a long tiring summer , people are now taking refuge from cold and having delicious supper with their beloveds. During noon on a sunny day, you can see kids beneath the sun having lessons with their favorite teacher while others are seated around the burning wood stove in their classes.
This compels me to think about people who were unaware of the present life style of their descendants and the future of my people. How it would be like when I won’t be here? Does everyone out there think about his life and others? What kind of thoughts people have in their minds, are these kids aware of the life yet to come? And… I’m clueless.
